Cherub & Carol Choir

The Cherub and Carol Choirs of Glendale Heights UMC have a rich history dating back over 40 years. Currently they are led by Dee Tucker or Miss Dee, as she is known to the kids. Miss Dee's children sang in the choir and now her grandchildren do the same!

What is the mission of the Cherub and Carol Choirs? Simply it is to foster a deeper understanding of the Bible and the meaning of the songs that are sung in praise of Jesus Christ. One of the greatest ways kids can show their love and faith is through song. The Cherub & Carol Choirs offer kids the chance to do just that.

The choirs meet during the school year from late August until late May. The children share the songs they have learned approximately 6 times during the year including a very special pageant at Christmastime.

The Cherub Choir consists of children aged 3 through 5 years. The Carol Choir includes 1-5th graders. Both choirs are open to all children. You do not have to attend Glendale Heights UMC to be a member of the choirs. All are welcome to share in this fun learning experience and to be nurtured with love through song.
